General Terms

Use of this Website is regulated by the conditions identified below (hereafter the “General Terms”). If you do not accept all the General Terms, please leave the Website immediately. Your use of the Website implies acceptance of these General Terms and their mandatory nature, in addition to the privacy policy. Karpenter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change these General Terms from time to time. Use of the Website after those changes have been made involves accepting the Terms of Use in their revised version and their mandatory nature.

Protection of Copyright

This Website, considered in its entirety, along with all material contained within it is protected by laws on copyright and other intellectual property rights.

The Material contained in the Website is presented only for information or promotion. The images, 3D models and technical drawings of Karpenter products published on the website are protected by copyright and are proprietary items of Karpenter. Use of the material contained in this Website, including download, copy, publish or display must have permission authorization of Karpenter.

Authorized Uses

Images or technical drawings published on the Karpenter’s website may be used for personal, non-commercial, educational and informative purposes only if the image is preserved intact as in the original and states the correct copyright regulations. Authorized architects, designers, and dealers may download and use the images on the website or the technical drawings to make their sales offers/quotations to the final customers through Karpenter or Authorized dealers of Karpenter products. Hence, contents and images published on the website may be downloaded or printed only for an Authorised Use and if the contents are neither deleted nor modified, including copyright notes and trademarks. Authorized dealers are requested to communicate with their contact person at Karpenter's Customer Service to obtain an authorization to use the high-resolution images and/or other website contents that are copyright protected (this can be done by making use of the online application form). Architects are requested to communicate with the contact person for architects to obtain a written authorization to use the high-resolution images and/or other website contents that are copyright protected (this can be done by making use of the online application form). No other use of the images or technical drawings published on karpenter's website is allowed (i.e. printing, download, reproduction, distribution, presentation to the public, sales or other).

Unauthorized Uses

This agreement does not envisage any assignment of rights to :

  • use images or technical drawings for advertising, publishing, promotional purposes or for other commercial applications (e.g. Point of Sale material), which always require Karpenter's authorization.
  • granting a license, selling, publishing or distributing one or more images or technical drawings or part of them.
  • allow downloading of images or technical drawings with the FTP protocol or a similar method.
  • use the images or technical drawings for libelous, pornographic, child pornographic, fraudulent, illegal purposes.
  • use the images or technical drawings in violation of copyright or privacy laws.
  • use the images or technical drawings for any other purpose that is not specified in the section “Authorised Uses.”

Any unauthorized use of images or technical drawings shall be a violation of copyright laws and authorizes Karpenter to defend its rights by pursuing the abovementioned violation, in compliance with current legal provisions.
